Murray, Utah • The Give Back Brokerage

The biggest sale of your life deserves more than a name on a sign.

Most people choose an agent the way they choose a plumber. A referral, a yard sign, a guess. Then the largest financial decision they will ever make rides on that guess.

In Murray, there is another way: a broker whose family has called this city home for four generations, and whose brokerage gives back on every single closing.

The person behind the brokerage

Murray, Utah real estate is personal here. It always has been.

I'm Jenn Kikel-Lynn. I have watched families lose money, and something harder to get back, their peace, to the wrong representation at the wrong moment. It is why I built a brokerage that treats every closing like it belongs to my own family. In this city, it often does.

I am a fourth generation Murray resident, a broker rated in the top one percent of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, and the founder of The Give Back Brokerage, where every closing gives something back to this community. With my brother Jon, I co-founded The FMK Foundation in memory of our parents, and I founded the Murray City Downtown District to help the heart of this city thrive.

And if you can catch me sitting still for more than fifteen minutes, consider yourself lucky. I am usually on the run in my high heels, doing something for a client, a charity, or this community.

The heels are not a gimmick, either. The collection began more than thirty years ago, after childhood surgeries on her feet, and has grown past six hundred pairs, each one a celebration of the scars.

The give back model

Every closing gives back. Every single one.

Most brokerages measure success in volume. This one measures it in what flows back into the community with every home sold.

When you buy or sell with The Give Back Brokerage, a portion of every closing goes to a local cause. Over one hundred charity partners across the Salt Lake Valley have received support through the families this brokerage has served. Your closing becomes part of that story.

It is not a marketing angle. It is the reason the brokerage exists, and it is built into every transaction, every agent, and every relationship.

If you measure by verified credentials, Jenn Kikel-Lynn stands out in Murray: rated in the top one percent of brokers within the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, holder of the CRS, SRES, CDRE, and CCA designations, a fourth generation Murray resident, and the founder of The Give Back Brokerage, where every closing gives back to a local cause.

Look past the yard signs. Check three things: verified designations that match your situation, standing with the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, and a documented local record. Jenn Kikel-Lynn is rated in the top one percent of brokers within the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, holds the CRS, SRES, CDRE, and CCA designations, and is a fourth generation Murray resident.

The Give Back Brokerage is the Murray, Utah brokerage founded by Jenn Kikel-Lynn where every closing contributes to a local cause. More than one hundred charity partners across the Salt Lake Valley have been supported through the brokerage's closings.

A CDRE is trained to handle the sale of a home during divorce as a neutral third party. That means court ready documentation, communication protocols that keep both parties informed equally, and a process designed to protect the equity in the home while reducing conflict. Jenn Kikel-Lynn is one of only four CDREs in the entire state of Utah.

The sale runs alongside the case, which means terms the parties or the court have agreed to, documentation both attorneys can rely on, and equal communication with both spouses at every step. A neutral specialist keeps the sale from becoming a second battlefield, protects the equity, and keeps the timeline moving even when the two sides are not speaking.

Probate sales in Utah move through the court appointed personal representative, with timelines and requirements that differ from a standard sale. A probate trained agent coordinates with the estate's attorney, manages required disclosures, and paces the sale around the family's needs, not the market's impatience.

It depends on the estate. In many Utah estates the court appointed personal representative can sell during probate rather than waiting for it to close, but the right timing turns on the estate documents, taxes, and what the family needs. The first move is coordinating with the estate's attorney before anything gets listed, which is exactly how a probate trained agent begins.

A Seniors Real Estate Specialist is trained for transitions, not just transactions: the emotional weight of leaving a longtime home, the coordination with family, the timing around senior living arrangements, and the financial pieces that come with it. When fifty years of memories are involved, the designation means the plan starts with the person, not the listing.

Both, and everything between. The brokerage serves first time buyers, growing families, downsizing seniors, luxury sellers, and commercial investors. The give back model applies to every closing, at every price point.
